Happy New Year and the Golden Globes!

The holiday season was very busy for us this year, with participating in events and craft shows, connecting with new fans and customers and working on brand new designs. We're super excited for 2015 and all of the amazing things that are going to happen this year, and we want to wish all of our wonderful fans and customers an amazing 2015!

Happy 4th Birthday to ideology!

Today marks our 4th anniversary since setting up our shop! We have come a long way in these past 4 years, and we are so grateful for all of the support we've had along the way from our wonderful customers and fans.

We Have a New Logo & Redesigned Website!

Recently, we decided it was time for some exciting, positive changes with ideology jewelry! So, we decided to create our brand new logo, with the help of Corey Arner. For our logo, we wanted a bold, eye catching look that fit with our handmade mission. The result turned into our gorgeous new logo, which can be seen below!

Our Earrings Were Featured on "Hart of Dixie"

We've recently found out about some HUGE news for ideology! A pair of our handmade Amethyst Trio Earrings were recently featured on the hit CW television show "Hart of Dixie." You can see our earrings on the Season 3 Finale, Episode 22 entitled "Second Chance," which aired on May 16, 2014. Our handmade earrings were worn by Don Todd's ex-wife, played by Tisha French.

Jewelry Photography: New Photos from Photographer Amanda Call

We recently received many new photos of our handmade jewelry from our recent photo shoots with Amanda Call and are excited to begin sharing a few of our favorite photos with all of you! In our photo shoot sessions, we experimented with different elements, backgrounds, layouts and angles to create the perfect photos of our jewelry. With our new photos, we're hoping to give our fans and customers the feeling that our jewelry is right in front of them and not simply on their computer (or phone) screen.

Gemstone Jewelry: A Sneak Peek at Our New Collection

As you may have heard, yesterday we announced our new collection of gemstone jewelry that we're getting ready to launch. We've decided to start sharing a few of the gemstone jewelry designs we've created to give you all an idea of what to expect! My cousin Amanda Call, who has been shooting photos of the new collection, took the photographs of our new gemstone jewelry designs below.

First, here is our brand new Pyrite Trio Necklace, featuring three rough pyrite (also known as fool's gold) beads on an antiqued bronze chain.

I feel it has come time to let everyone know about our new jewelry collection. After all, I'd love to let you all in on the excitement, as this is something I've been hoping to do for quite some time. The new jewelry collection is going to feature some of my favorite elements:

Why I Love Making Jewelry

While my jewelry creations to serve as a means of an income, they mean so much more to me than a dollar sign. Here are some of the many reasons why I love making jewelry and sharing my designs with all of you!

1. I'm passionate about creating. I love how making jewelry allows me explore one of the many creative avenues I've found an interest in over the years. Knowing that I'm creating a little piece of wearable art in each design drives me to enjoy the process all the much more.
